Wii In-Stock

  • Problems with supply versus demand, started to show up early, and by March the U.K. stores had still not filled all of their orders, and the U.S. stores were still trying to keep up in June of 2007. The Wii game console is even now, slowly making it’s way around the world, having been sold in countries on all seven continents, from Canada to South Korea, with the exception of China, India, and Egypt, which remain to be heard about.

While it is still hard to find a Wii game console in stores, because of the high demand and low supply, there are still online auction sites that have them in stock. So if you really want a Wii, try going that route, and you will find plenty to choose from.

Online auctions might actually be the best way to go, seeing as how most stores have completely sold out in a matter of hours. Sites like Ebay.com, Ubid.com, and Yahoo auction sites all have plenty of consoles, games accessories, and wireless controllers for sale. However do expect to pay between two hundred and three hundred dollars for the console alone.

One of the features that made it most popular are, the wireless remote control device, that allows players to “enter” the game. For example, if you are playing baseball, you can actually bat the ball, or through the pitches, and all of your friends can play as well.

There are many games that have been made, especially for the Wii as well, from SpongeBob Squarepants, to Super Swing Golf. They all encourage group participation, and getting off of the couch to play.
